Amsterdam-based artist Selwyn Senatori has an affinity for his Italian heritage, incorporating subjects in his paintings that he calls “the five things an Italian man thinks about”; coffee, food, vino, a fast car and breasts. Luckily for us that’s not all that’s been on his mind because though many of his paintings include Italian themes, he has recently created a few pieces the fashion world can appreciate. With his thick layering of paint and expressive lines our beloved Karl Lagerfeld has been wonderfully rendered in a number of paintings. Though we may not know if Mr. Lagerfeld would approve it himself, we think this is pop art at it’s best.<\/p>\n
