Chicks on Speed Debut Electric Shoe Guitars

Finally, if you’re tired of heels that aren’t doing anything besides taking up space on the bottom of your feet, the band Chicks on Speed – a cult favorite of the fashion set, recently kicked up their heels in the world’s first electric shoe guitars.{A Shaded View on Fashion}

Siberian shoe designer Max Kibardin collaborated on the shoes, which were debuted alongside the Chicks on Speed’s collection of self made ‘Objekt Instruments.” Cigar Box synthesizers, suits with body sensors to trigger audio/video samples and hats that transmit singing or speaking by way of microphones and speakers give a new look (and meaning) to the phrase one-man-band.

While we probably won’t be trying the 12″ heels out any time soon, or encouraging friends with children to put their girls in training for them, there is something pretty cool about kicking up your feet and kicking off a riff.
