Like either one or not, the resulting frenzy over what Michelle Obama and Kate Middleton wear is similar. They have different figures, are at different points in their lives andare just generally different people, but there’s nothing offensive about pointing out that Middleton is similar to someone else on the world stage who has been celebrated for dressing according to personal tastes rather than precedent.

And thanks for letting us know that “wastelines” are a polarizing political issue.

For the love of GOD and all which is decent, leave this girl alone and stop comparing her to Michelle Obama. As someone who cannot stand this woman I find it deseperate and offensive that this untarnished 28 year old woman to someone who’s become nothing more than a polarizing force politically and is yet to find her wasteline (i.e. it is NOT at the top of her ribcage). Catherine dresses as a well to do, conservative dresser with contemporary accesories and knows what suits her already wearing pieces which emphasize her assets without taking over and looks confident and beautiful through her confidence. It’s a classic, well proven formula as well known as ‘the little black dress’. While it’s unfortunate that more women don’t follw that rule, it is nothing new. Please leave Ms. Obama comparisons out of this.
