Total and utter scientific fail.

And the original article (linked to on Buzzfeed) “scientifically” concluded that white women were most attractive on average. 

That could be for several reasons: the people doing the rating were white, exposed to lots of media images touting certain features common to white people as attractive, perhaps. That alone makes it completely subjective, and if the study were done in an Asian country and were to find that Asians are more attractive than other races, I’d say it was also junk science with too many biases to be seen as anything but a commentary on regional preferences.

As far as what women look like, most women of all races don’t look like supermodels or actresses.

It was actually an Asian man of Japanese descent who wrote the article. There are gorgeous women of all races, so let’s not trade one stereotype for another, but the “study” in general was completely ridiculous and shouldn’t have been taken seriously enough to publish.

Any website? I guess you would include black dating websites in that statistic?

Maybe white and Asian men in general aren’t that attracted to black women in general, but that’s hardly proof that black women aren’t attractive, and is highly, highly subjective. If you did a similar “study” in Africa that found that white women were less attractive than other races it would similarly be proof of nothing more than cultural and regional preferences when it comes to beauty.

Further, the fact that this entire premise is based on the opinions of 3 people of unidentified race makes it even more worthless.

If I found 3 people on the street who agreed that the world is flat, making charts and graphs based on that doesn’t make it a fact.
