No community (online or offline) is perfect, but even if it only represents a small portion of their members the willingness to do something positive when they see something bad happening is commendable. Even communities that most people would consider reprehensible occasionally come together to do good things though (no names, but I’m sure you can think of a site fitting that description), so duly noted that a few good deeds doesn’t necessarily = a good group.
