When I talk to friends in different parts of the country, it seems AT&T isn’t good, but is not necessarily as bad as it is in New York and San Francisco. Friends with different phones still seem to notice a dip in quality since the iPhones came out, so it’s quite possible they just weren’t ready to support it. But agreed that there may have been at least a marginal improvement had it launched on Verizon. Not sure if T-Mobile or Sprint would have been able to make a difference.
