And for being a WiFi wireless Router, the Palm Pre Plus comes in really handy for laptops and tablets with WiFi so you can surf on a real browser without limitations.

The free wireless charger is a nice incentive and for being the first GSM phone that can be used internationally, the price may be justified.

With iPhone losing as the most popular smartphone to Androids for early part of this year, some existing iPhone consumers may be curious to explore other smartphones other than the iPhone.

I think there are certainly some people who’ve grown disillusioned with the iPhone, but do you think there will be enough to have a significant impact on the launch sales of the Pre? It’s not impossible – I know people who wouldn’t give up their Blackberry for anything, but I just haven’t seen the same kind of attachment to the Pre.

One aspect I think that has been overlooked by many is that the Pre being on the same network as AT&T could actually be a good thing. I for one have been waiting for AT&T to pick up the Pre, and I was not willing to switch carriers to get it. Now that it is coming to At&T, I will be happy to get one on the very day it releases, for the upgrade price, which should be $250.00 if pricing at Fry’s goes according to their current guidelines.

I think there may be quite a few iPhone users that would be willing to switch to the Pre since it is on the same network as the iPhone. I personally know a few myself.
