After sneak-peek photos of Jimmy Choo’s new collection for H&M hit airwaves, news about another possible ‘big name’ designer creating a collection for the fashion savy megastore began to spread, and is now confirmed. Sonia Rykiel will be creating the first innerwear collection showing knits, lingerie, and accessories. The collection will be debuted in 1,500 select H&M stores just in time for the holidays on Decemeber 5, 2009, and will also be sold at Rykiel’s own high-end boutiques. The collection is said to be inspired by the designer’s 40th anniversary show from last October where she showed among many spectacular pieces like sexy silk body suits and high-waisted ’50s-style briefs. Thank you, H&M, for making the fashion heavyweights our personal stylists.

The color is a perfect option for those who need a go-with-everything neutral, but want to go past basic black. It can now be pre-ordered at Luna Boston where it retails for $599.00.

Prison stripes, leopard prints and lots of floral complimenting a direction in pieces that are both funky and wearable.
