The Samsung Galaxy Tab officially debuted a few weeks ago in Berlin at IFA, and now it has finally been announced for American release. The US version is a bit different than the European offering in terms of features, but the tablet is essentially the same.

The main difference between the US and European is that the US version of the Galaxy Tab loses the voice functionality that can be found in the European versions.

Surprising News (Not): Lady Gaga Signs Fragrance Deal with Coty thumbnail

Rumors ran rampant this summer about an impending Lady Gaga fragrance deal with Coty Inc. Back in July, a Coty representative told WWD the rumors were completely false, and that he had heard “nothing of this project.” Well, surprise surprise. This week WWD reported that the world’s no. 1 pop star has in fact signed a deal with Coty to create a line of signature Lady Gaga fragrances.

Katy Perry had images of funnyman beau Russell Brand’s face painted on her finger nails for the occasion. We weren’t sure what to make of it, but Ms. Teenage Dream (and Rolling Stone’s September cover girl) did cause us to wonder what else you could have painted on your nails if you really wanted an original manicure.

Everyone knows Steve Madden for his trendy, affordable retail shoe collections that are often inspired by the high-end versions seen on the runways. Sometimes too inspired, as numerous designers have brought lawsuits against Madden over the years for copyright infringement for the all-too-similar styles. This time around Steve Madden has taken his talents to the luxury market with a new line created for Zac Posen.

With New York Fashion Week officially underway, we wanted to take a closer look at one of first and highly anticipated shows to hit the runway. Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano’s Spring/Summer collection hit the catwalk in unbelievable style. The “safari glam” clothes and enormous, draped evening gowns were stunners, but what really stole the show were the fierce footwear for the designer’s Payless collection.

We love Lady Gaga. Like, Goddess worship, crazy fan-boy, girl crush love her. And part of that love comes from a fascination with and delight in almost everything she wears. Actually, raw meat was the least surprising thing she wore.

OpenSkies Claims to Offer Refunds to Unsatisfied Customers: Great Marketing, but Not True

OpenSkies Claims to Offer Refunds to Unsatisfied Customers: Great Marketing, but Not True thumbnail

In August, I wrote an OpenSkies Review detailing my costly experience with OpenSkies, the all business airline that flies between New York and Paris. While the flight and the flight crew were perfectly fine, the policies of the airline are not.

Imagine my surprise when I see articles and tweets mentioning OpenSkies’ great new (temporary) policy of “Love Everything or Pay Nothing” offering a money back guarantee to unsatisfied customers. According to the recently launched program, anyone who isn’t satisfied with their flight between now and November 30th has 30 days to get a full refund, less the cost of government fees and taxes.

As someone who has been trying for more than 30 days to get a refund, I have to say that it’s a great PR campaign but will likely prove a challenge for the reported 3% of customers who would not recommend the airline.
